Capacity Building of Field Functionaries with SOP
(Standard Operating Procedures)
Capacity Building
We conduct regular needs assessments for staff and provide targeted training programs. From pedagogy to communication skills, classroom management to personal development, our training ensures that our librarians and facilitators grow professionally — not just as educators, but as change-makers.
Every year, we carry out internal reviews and improvement meetings to reflect on outcomes, document feedback, and design smarter strategies for the next cycle. We consider this a non-negotiable part of our culture — because continuous learning is for everyone, not just the children.
A learning space that values both healing and hope.
SOP Handbook (Standard Operating Procedures)
Strengthen the Core Programs.
Aseem’s Library SOP Handbook is a comprehensive and useful guide that provides direction and guidance for the operation, programs, and activities of the library. This handbook provides information about the mission, goals, and educational approach of Aseem’s Library, including the Honeycomb methodology that helps children learn in a comfortable and fun way.
Our library aims to provide high-quality education to children and teachers, and this handbook aims to help library staff achieve this goal. It provides detailed information about library operations, program organisation, and opportunities for children's education and development.
In this handbook, we have outlined our Three L program, which focuses on literacy, life skills, and personal development through the library. We have provided detailed guidance on how to run our programs successfully, including library operations, program organisation, and opportunities for children's education and development.
We created 14 SOP training modules-Hard copy, Soft copy, Audio- Video that will help you understand how to run our program.
This training will help you in the operation of our program.
Monitoring and Evaluation
We are providing you with all the document formats related to the library, which you can use to create a better documentation format and check your own and your library's progress.
Monitoring and Evaluation: The key to a better organisation To run any organisation effectively, Monitoring and Evaluation (MNE) is required to improve the quality of our programs.
Our aim is to understand
- How successful our programs are
- How smoothly they are being implemented
- What gaps or challenges exist
- Based on our evaluation, we take timely and informed actions to improve and grow.
We have developed specific formats and registers to help us monitor our work systematically
- Attendance Register-To monitor attendance of children/beneficiaries
- Book Issue Register-To track the distribution of books
- Stock Register-To manage and monitor available resources
- Log Book Register-To record daily activities
- Planning Register-To plan and track program initiatives
We use well-designed reporting tools to evaluate progress and effectiveness
- 3Month MIS- For reviewing all activities and outcomes every 3 months
- Age-Wise Book Issue Report-To analyze how books are distributed by age group
- Annual Tracker -To monitor yearly progress of the organization
- Computer Reports-For generating and storing digital reports
