Our Partners

Program Partners

Our Libraries and programs are operated by Host NGOs Partners. These organisations are responsible for providing space, security, safety, cleanliness, mobilising users from the community or from their own centres, and maintaining the resources provided by Aseem’s Library.

We also engage in building their staff capacities, mentoring, motivating, monitoring and evaluation of work done. Assistance is given to prepare the structure of the library, timetable, planning and execution.

From time to time, we visit the centres personally and invite them to large events outside their premises. In addition, occasional help is given for arranging events, donations and networking.

Rainbow Home Foundation- Dedicated to the upliftment of marginalised people through CCI and Adult Shelter Homes

SPYM Centre for Juveniles- Provides Life-skills and Rehabilitation, options for juveniles in conflict with the law or substance abuse

Nirvair Sikh society for community and children development

St Stephens Hospital community centre for community and academic development of children

Village Cottage Home for children- government- houses homeless children below 10 years, provides safe housing, education and nutrition

Pocketful of Sunshine- dedicated to providing a daycare facility for infants and children so mothers can go to work without worry

Bright orange foundation - dedicated to providing a quasi-school for migrant labour children

SOS Children’s Village and CCI centres- dedicated to providing holistic development and quality education of children through CCIs

Mission Samriddhi works for rural development and children's education in Uttar Pradesh, focusing on holistic growth.

Madrasa Anwarul Uloom offers Islamic and academic education, aiming to empower students with knowledge and values.

CCI - CHILD CARE INSTITUTION LIBRARY- is run by government-approved shelter NGOs. Children below 18 years are housed in shelter homes, provided safe shelter, food, clothing, medicine, education and counselling. They may be homeless, or with functional parents, or no parents at all. Aseem's library provides enrichment, recreation, therapy, educational and academic support, a creative environment, and empowerment through life skills and value education.

CUSTODIAL HOMES LIBRARY- are run by licensed government approved NGOS, Juvenile children below 18 years in conflict with law are kept here for a limited period of time, and are provided shelter, food, security, medical aid and rehabilitation.

DAYCARE COMMUNITY LIBRARY- These centers are run by private NGOS., they invite children from local communities to voluntarily attend daycare activities that include bridge classes for education, food, and productive engagement. Aseem's Library provides intervention for academic support, value education and creative learning and overall personality development. It also provides therapy and positive recreation. plus exposure to the wider world.

There are two types of OPEN COMMUNITIES LIBRARIES

1. Non-Residential Open Community Library (51) - In this type of library, children and adults visit the library, participate in library programs, and benefit from the resources, but they return to their homes after their visit.

2. Residential Open Community Library (3) - In this type of library, children and adults not only visit the library and participate in programs but also reside at the library center, allowing for a more immersive and extended experience.

Residential libraries often provide additional support and services, such as accommodation, food, and mentor-ship, to help individuals achieve their goals and improve their lives. These libraries can be particularly beneficial for those who lack access to resources, support, or a stable living environment.

OPEN COMMUNITY LIBRARY - are also run by licensed NGOS. They house adults or children and families with special needs. They are given shelter, security, food and medical aid. The children attend bridge classes and are enrolled in regular schools.

Aseem's Library provides intervention for therapy, academic support, recreation and value education engaging children in education, recreational and academic support. Aseem's Library provides therapy, recreation, non-formal education and empowerment by value education and exposure to the outside world.
