We aim to impart, introduce, strengthen and sustain Literacy skills, along with productive Recreation, Life-skill and Ethical Values, encourage creativity and exposure to mainstream,  ultimately leading to self- belief, self- confidence and ownership in the user.
 

Our Target Audience

Children aged 3-18, and adults from dysfunctional families or homeless,  underprivileged and deprived. First time learners, neo -literates, or school drop outs. Patients- both mental and physically ill. Delinquent children or those serving a sentence in prisons.

  • Although the Home was established in 2006, the library started in 2011. The 150-odd boys here mostly belong to the homeless clusters around the Delhi area. This home is additionally special in that it provides shelter and reprieve to several boys that are rescued by child protection agencies, by was of being engaged in abusive domestic labor, lost or abandoned from their homes, abducted and also children that have run away from threatening and abusive environments.

Khushi Rainbow Home for Girls, Okhla Phase 1

  • The Khushi Rainbow Home with approximately 100-odd girls who mostly belong to homeless clusters around Nizamuddin is special in that it provides shelter and reprieve to several girls that are rescued by child protection agencies. Many of them faced abusive domestic trauma, child labor, are lost or abandoned from their homes.
